Privacy, Data, and Data Deletion Policy
This privacy policy sets out how PracTrak, PracTrac, and CSNTrac apps use and protect information that you give PracTrak when you use this application. It also explains how you can request your personal and app data to be deleted. Ray of Light Software is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Your data will not be viewed without your permission. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this application, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Ray of Light Software may change this policy from time to time by updating this application. This policy is effective from January 2023.
Security
Data from PracTrac and CSNTrac are stored in the secure Firebase online data store and backed up daily. Google maintains Firebase as a secure data store with encrypted data and transfer of data to and from the datastore.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
What we collect
We may collect the following personal information for the user of the app: Name and title, email, address, phone number, users’ website. Contacts from your device from your contact list are uploaded and contact name, address and phone number are saved to support the applications patient and patient contact functionality.
Images may be uploaded by users and saved from your device into the PracTrac or CSNTrac Google Firebase data store. These images are receipts that are stored and used to create invoices.
What we do with the information we gather
All passwords are encrytped and cannot be viewed by anyone except the user.
Patient data is not viewed or accessed without users' direct permission and never used outside of the PracTrak, PracTrac, or CSNTrac applications.
We may periodically send promotional emails about product updates or other information which we think you may find interesting or for market research using the email address which you have provided.
App data, such as rates, and some usage and financial summary information may be shared anonamously to support industry research but will never include patient data.
Controlling your personal information and data
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information or application data to third parties. We will also not view your data unless allowed by you to help us to improve the application.
You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to Ray of Light Software, mathenydale@gmail.com.
If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
Requesting deletion of your personal and app data
You may request deletion of your account and all its data or just deletion of stored contacts and/or all app data (while retaining your account). All app data includes transactions, patient payments, and invoices. If you would like to delete your account data or all data in your account or just all contacts in the account please submit your request to Ray of Light Software, mathenydale@gmail.com.
